More Silvana

This morning we went to Silvana again. And why not? It's so close and the weather has been so hot! I took more photos cuz the place is fancy and fun. :p I wanted to go down the water slide with Blake.

See the slide to the left in the photo below? Blake rode down twice, but I got lazy reading and laying in the sun. I'm into a short story collection of John Updike's called "Pigeon Feathers". Such amazing insight and beautiful observations of this human experience of ours. Anyway, Blake, Amy and I had a Schnitzel Baguette. Here what's left of the one Blake shared with his mom.

We discovered that Silvana was having their 1 yr anniversary celebration. A dj was brought in and they were having various activities throughout the day (the main one announced was the bikini contest). See the awesome photo of the dj's back? He was being shy. He's in the photo to the right too, but just a speck of dark t-shirt on the second tier of the high dive. See the dj? "Hey, mister dj! over here! please don't play that remix of the Macarena song! plllllease!" Seriously, he DID play that, and the second i figure out how or if i can upload videos here, i've got one for you.

The photo of the sticker? It was on a pole outside the building. Hmmm, guess I miss all the dirty, big city graffiti?
